Michigan Trail Runners are a group of runners who enjoy spending time outdoors, running and hiking trails throughout Southeast Michigan.
We love meeting new folks who enjoy to run and hike Michigan trails as much as we do! Are you beckoned outdoors at the crack of dawn by the crisp, morning air too? Then let’s meet up for a group trail run!

Michigan Trail Runners meet on various trails throughout Southeast Michigan on the third Saturday of each month. Mark your calendar and register for our next group trail run!
Registration is not required to attend, however it is appreciated and will help us to know how much food to prepare for our post-run breakfast.

No! It is free to join and attend our group trail runs.
Michigan Trail Runners meet once / month on the third Saturday of the month at 7:30 am.
Our group trail runs are located on various trails throughout Southeast Michigan, and are announced the last week of the previous month.
7:30 am on a Saturday is early, I know. But, we meet this early to beat the summer heat, as well as mountain bike traffic on the trail.
We provide a water drop on every run. However, to keep our group runs eco-friendly, you’ll need to supply your own container, either a hydration pack or handheld water bottle.
No! Everyone is welcome. In fact, this is the perfect opportunity to try out new trails and locations that you may have been nervous to tackle on your own.
No! Michigan Trail Runners cater to both runners and hikers. Everyone is welcome, no matter your pace.
Registration is not required to attend a group trail run. However, it is appreciated so we can plan in advance how many runners and hikers to expect for breakfast.
